The house is a short walk to Sandycove Beach, Dalkey and Glasthule villages. There is an excellent selection of amenities close by including many bars, restaurants and boutiques. The coastal setting is ideal for for walks along the seafront or swimming in the famous 40 foot. The local DART Train Station only a short walk away, with trains running into the city centre every 12 minutes. The house has real wow factor with lots indoor light, a wonderful South West facing rear garden and patio area.

The house has an impressive double height Melle kitchen with luxury appliances, two double fridge freezers cooker and double oven and a dining area which seats seven People. The Sun Room has lots of natural light with views out to the patio and garden. There is also has a Bose surround sound stereo system throughout the ground floor.
For an Al fresco dinning experience the patio has a gas fired barbecue and a large outdoor eating area which serves six people. There is a study area and a two separate lounge areas. There are two double bedrooms (one en suite) and one large bedroom which has bunk beds which can be split into twin beds if required. The main bathroom is well equipped with a bath and shower. There is a further single bedroom. There is also a utility room with a washer drier.

Our party of seven enjoyed our holiday at Steve's home in Sandycove. Check-in was easy and comfortable with Jackie, who was most helpful throughout our stay. The children (7, 5, and 1) enjoyed the toys on offer and their cozy rooms. The neighbourhood is charming with easy access to several nice, family-friendly restaurants, as well as the beach and Killiney Hill Park, which was enjoyed by all. Future guests should be advised that the house does get rather warm at night, and, relative to other vacation homes we've visited, there is not a great selection of suitable cookware for guests who, like us, appreciate the option of preparing our own meals. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend Steve's house to those looking for a family-friendly home near Dublin.

The house was amazing. It is beautifully decorated and the sun-room is great for spending a lazy afternoon. We loved the location and Steve was a wonderful host.

A lovely house and more spacious than expected. We had glorious weather and enjoyed the outdoor dining table and patio area. We slept with the windows open so if AC is a must for you, this is not the place. Both the house manager and housekeeper were very pleasant. Overall, a very enjoyable and easy experience.

This is a beautiful space, lots of room and very comfortable, with everything one could ask for to create a relaxing family trip! High spec but homely at the same time! Would highly recommend. Thanks Steve.

Location: 100%, walking distance to sea, 40 Foot, and super food. Design of house: 100% family and child friendly, great design. Host responsiveness: 100% we had a few issues but Steve on top of everything.
