Private, quiet room in a sunny 2-bedroom apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
If you need a quiet peaceful living space near a buzzing social hub, and you enjoy lots of plant life with self-cooked meals, this is the apartment for you!
We have a giant kitchen stocked with all essential appliances, and perhaps a few non-essential.. We also have (we like to think) all the spices you could ever need. Fresh herbs are available from the potted plants in the window.
We have a large living room with ample couch space and a TV fitted for all your streaming needs: Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc... And an Xbox!
Your bedroom faces the backyard, sheltering it from street noise for a good night's sleep in a cozy four-poster double-size bed with super soft sheets. You'll also find more than enough available space for clothes and belongings in your walk-in closet and huge antique dresser.
We will greet you and give you our own set of keys to the building, our front door, and your room. Guests are of course free to come and go 24/7. Please just lock all doors behind you on your way in and out.
We are both busy media freelancers and bartenders so if we happen to be home, we're probably busy on our computers in the living room. If not that we are simply there to cook and eat. We are always happy to share a meal and a drink with you, or stay out of your way if you wish. Nate in particular has lived in the neighborhood for a long time and has a list of beloved restaurants, bars, and activities ready for you if you need. Feel free to reach out anytime!
- Ask before ordering items on any of the accounts linked up to the TV in the living room.
- Lock doors behind you on your way in and out.
- We love company but like anyone else we have limits- please ask before you invite guests over.
We are both filmmakers originally from Northern California. Honestly, these days we both like a good book, a good oyster, a good drink, and a good nap. We just finished grad school and we are le tired. We're excited to share our place and hope you love the neighborhood as much as we do!
