My home would be ideally suited to couples or singles on holiday or visiting family also business travellers looking for a stop off.
Ideally situated for touring the Dales or the Lake District. Perfect if your thing is walking (The Famous Three Peaks)
Excellently located for Railway enthusiasts. (Ribblehead Viaduct)
Cycling and golf not to mention all village amenities are on the door step.
The double bedroom is newly renovated it is bright, comfortable and airy with a private electric shower en-suite. There is a comfortable double bed with duvet, hairdryer, coat hangers in the spacious wardrobe, television and a lock on the bedroom door. The bedroom has a wonderful Southerly aspect with views out towards the moors of the Forest of Bowland.
You are welcome to use the kitchen so long as you leave it as you find it, along with the dining area and sitting room if you don't mind sharing. The patio is lovely and quiet on a summers evening; to enjoy after a busy day exploring the area.
The main entrance is on the side of the house, I ask that dirty footwear be left just inside the door rather than worn through the house. My outside space is not as yet complete but can be parked on, or you can sit out in the summer evenings listening to the birds over a glass of wine. The rear is secure for bikes or other equipment.
Bentham is located just off the Way of the Roses coast to coast route, it would make a good stopping over point. Ingleton Falls walk and the White Scar Caves are 3.5 miles away.
We are ideally situated for touring or walking in The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland.
- I would ask that all outdoor footwear is left inside the back door.
- Please leave the kitchen as you find it
Due to work commitments I will do my best to be here to great guests although I may not be here when guests leave. I will endeavour to make each stay as comfortable as possible and answer any questions.
Ruby my border collie can be energetic but on the whole is well behaved and loves people.
Hi, I live with my red and white border collie, Ruby (3years old) We have lived in our semi on the edge of the village for 2 years now, during which time we have renovated it from top to bottom, making a very comfortable home, just needing to complete the outside space. There is ample off road parking although this is not yet completed it is useable.
I enjoy walking with Ruby in the beautiful surrounding countryside and cycling in the area.
I enjoy many craft hobbies including knitting, crocheting and sewing, attending regular patchwork workshops in the village at Temptations Craft shop.
I have lived in the area most of my life and love living here as I am right in the centre of an area with a wealth of outdoor activities.
My home could be used as a base for trying differing activities in the area including, riding, pottery, cookery and of course for golf, fishing, walking, cycling, or touring the Dales or The Lakes.
I love my little 1972 Triumph Spitfire which I'm hoping to get on the road again this summer.
I am Well positioned for the famous Settle to Carlisle railway and the Ribble Head Viaduct, with the station in Bentham linking Lancaster and Leeds.
