This home is a truly unique architectural design. The internal design has tasteful Japanese inspired simplicity. It is an open plan home with sleeping rooms partitioned off by Japanese rice paper screens. Cosy log fire for cold winter days. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a family. Not very suitable for toddlers. The attached studio which sleeps 4 can also be rented separately. The setting is in the majestic privacy of the Wombat forest and only a 10 min drive to Daylesford.
The house accommodates 4 in two bedrooms. Both have queen size beds and are separated from the living area by sliding Japanese screens. The open plan living area has a kitchen, lounge and dining space. There is a separate bathroom.
The attached studio also sleeps 4 (Tranquil Private Bushland Studio- Daylesford) which must be booked separately has a large downstairs sleeping area with a queen size bed and an upstairs loft with two single beds. The studio has an ensuite bathroom.
Depending on booking numbers and guest preferences guests can book the two bedroom house via this listing and or book the studio separately via our other listing.
If possible I like to greet guests on arrival to make sure they are comfortable and to answer any questions they may have about the house or area. We live close by but like to give our guests privacy and space, we are available to assist if need be.

The house is set in 5 acres of bushland with a dam. Children need to be supervised at all times. Our rice paper screens are fragile.
