Dear guests, we believe in the home sharing ethos, please be aware, this is our home, we go and play on our boat while you enjoy your vacation. It is not a short term rental solely used for Airbnb. This is important for you to know with the shortage of long term rental accommodation in Marlborough.
Please note the security deposit is not an upfront payment. In case of the unlikely event of serious damage, Airbnb can access this subject to a negotiated agreement with the guest. I have set it at the excess amount of my insurance company.
On to more interesting matters....

Safety issues with kids:
We have a large solar system on the bank. It is very important that kids are not allowed to climb the bank next to the panels.
We also have a large rock pool, again the rocks are not for climbing on as the are all balanced and playing in the pool can damage the pool liner. These experiences I have had with my own family's kids, so that's why I mention it.
No booking for third party.

Tony and I love sailing, music, travel, art, and walking the local tracks.
Tony is an artist who exhibits at the local gallery. I make stuff. I upcycle, paint, sew and anything else that takes my interest.
We both enjoy hosting on Airbnb, we meet such interesting lovely travellers.
In between our hobbies and hosting we enjoy working on our home and boat and just being in the beautiful environment around us.
