This personal study sits on a beautiful acre nestled under a canopy of large hardwoods. The property backs up to the city park, sporting a walking trail, tennis court, dog park, playgrounds, and the meandering 10-mile Creek. Staying in Historic Lancaster is like stepping back into tiime. The shady sidewalk takes you to the town square, train depot and rose garden. Nature preserves, groceries, and restaurants are 5 minutes away. It is 25 minutes from Dallas & 10 minutes from I 35, I 20, & I 45.
This is the quietest room in the house! It is located downstairs, and has it's own entrance. Staying here is like being tucked away in a cabin in the woods. The 1937 knotty pine walls and and personal gas log fireplace set the mood. The comfy Organic California King Bed may make rising in the morning difficult, but retiring in the evening all the easier. There is a desk and built-in cabinet for cozy workspace and plenty of storage.
Guests will have access to the sunroom, offering a beautiful view of the property and/or living room, with an original marble fireplace. The bedroom is adjacent to both these rooms, and has its own porch for relaxing outdoors.
