Our house is 15 minutes walk from the centre of Bath, where you will find the Abbey, The Roman Baths, loads of museums and lovely Georgian architecture.
We live in Walcot, which is one of Bath's artisan quarters, so there are interesting restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops all along your route into town.
Your room is a newly converted loft, it's clean and bright, with cotton sheets and towels. It feels very private, being on its own floor, overlooking the rooftops and hills around Bath. There is a kettle and all you need to make tea and coffee just by your bed.
You have your own toilet room, but the bathroom, and the rest of the house is shared with the family (myself, my husband and our two kids who are five and two).
Breakfast is buffet style, so you can help yourself to bread, pastries, toast, jams, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, hot drinks, and anything else you might need.
We are happy to share our house with you. Please feel free to make hot drinks in the kitchen whenever you need them, and store anything in the fridge. We can't offer any cooking facilities though. You can eat breakfast in the dining room and relax in the living room. The bathroom is shared, but you also have your own ensuite toilet room. We have a small outside space you are welcome to use.
We have lived in Bath for a good few years, so we can tell you about all our favourite places to go; how to make the most of the big sights, and where to go off the beaten track. We are also happy to leave you in peace if that's what you prefer.
Having said that, our children will probably try to make friends with you, so feel free to ignore them, or lavish them with attention, they are quite used to both!
No smoking in the house please, but smoking outside is fine.
Please leave shoes downstairs.
Check in is between 4pm and 9pm, but we can often be flexible about this, just ask. Leaving bags here can usually be arranged.
Please respect our home, and enjoy your stay.
