Welcome to our vacation home, The Screaming Elk. Returning from your many adventures in Moab, relax, rejuvenate and experience Southwest charm and luxurious accommodations in our newly renovated modern rustic single-story, detached home. Our home sleeps 8, in 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. You will find many amenities that will get you ready for the next day’s adventure. Our home is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is five miles from town.
By renting this home, you agree to the following:
1.No renters below 25 years of age, unless accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be required.
2.Maximum occupancy is 8. No additional guests can stay overnight at the property.
3.Smoking and/or vaping is not allowed inside the property, in the garage and outside in the patio. We want to be considerate for those who have allergies to smoke and want to stay at a smoke-free home. A fine of $500 will be charged for evidence of smoking/vaping within the premises.
4.No unlawful activities to be conducted within the premises. Such activities will cause immediate removal from premises.
5.No pets are allowed in the property. We want to be considerate for those who have allergies to animals that want to stay at our home. A fine of $500 will be assessed for evidence of pets within the premises, along with additional fees for all damages cause by pets.
6.Please use appliances for its intended use. All appliances will be in working order prior to your arrival. A fee will be assessed up to the cost of replacement for any appliances broken during your stay.
7.Kitchen utensils, flatware, dishes, cookware and bake ware are to be used as intended. Inventory of items is taken prior to your arrival. A fee will be assessed to replace broken or missing items during your stay.
8.Before departure, please place furniture and appliances that were moved to their original locations.
9.All lamps and lights will be in working condition upon your arrival. A $10 fee will be charged to replace missing light bulbs during your stay.
10.Before departure, please take out garbage to the trash bins, located between 7 and 9 buildings. A $25 fee will be charged for each trash bag that have to be taken to the trash bins.
11. There are two parking spaces inside the garage. Additional parking are available on the driveway and on the street.
12.Home will be thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival and all amenities, such as soaps, detergents, shampoo, conditioner will be provided, but not replenished during your stay. No daily maid service will be provided.
13.Towels and pool towels will be provided. Pool towels can be taken to the pool and spa area. Please do not take bath towels out of the unit. A $50 fee will be charged for each missing sheets, blankets and/or towels.
14.At the end of your stay, please place the pool key at its allotted area. A $75 fee will be assessed for lost pool key.
15.Please place remotes on the coffee table at the end of your stay. A $75 fee will be assessed for broken or lost remotes. All remotes will have working batteries. A $10 fee will be assessed to replace each missing battery.
16.All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
17.Please obey all rules and regulations at our community clubhouse, pool and spa. NEVER leave children at the pool and spa unattended.
18.Full refund will be given if notice of cancellation is given 30 days prior to day of arrival. If cancellation notice is given within 30 days of arrival, Homeowner will attempt to rebook the property and if property is rebooked at same rate, full refund will be given. Otherwise, Homeowners will refund the difference.
19.Please be considerate of other guests in surrounding homes. No loud noise or large parties in the home or on the premises.
20.Please leave premises in the same condition as the day of arrival.
21.Check in is at 4:00 PM or later and check out is at 10:00 AM.
