This is a modern 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment available for Inauguration Weekend. Whether you are celebrating or protesting, the apartment is right on multiple bus routes and is within half a mile of metro lines that all go directly to the National Mall.
There are also several fantastic restaurants and bars just steps away, including Small Fry, Meridian Pint, Wonderland Ballroom, Union Drinkery, SundeVich, and Bravo Bar (which has $6 shot/beer/hotdog combos from 5-8p every day).
The apartment gets fantastic natural light during the day, and has a great views of the reservoir.
The living room has two wingback chairs, a coffee table, and a 48" TV with surround sound.
The dining room has a table and two chairs, with two more folding chairs available (or use the air mattress and turn it into a second sleeping area). There is a washer/dryer in the closet here.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and you are welcome to use any of the appliances to cook (although I really recommend the restaurants in the neighborhood).
The bedroom has a queen size bed, and the dresser will be empty for your use.
Full bath will also have space in the medicine cabinet for your effects.
You have access to the entire apartment except for the second bedroom and the utility closet that contains the water heater and HVAC.
I won't be around.
I'm a 30 year old attorney practicing telecommunications law in Washington, DC. Airbnb looks like a fun alternative to staying in a hotel, so I thought I'd give it a try.
As a guest I am polite, respectful of property, and generally out all day and into the evening. I travel light, and am generally just looking for a place to shower and sleep.
If there's anything in particular you need to know, just ask. I'm the handsome one in the beard, on the left in the photo.
