Glendun self catering is a holiday home that opened for the summer of 2012. It is a luxurious house that has been tastefully adapted to cater for both able and disabled persons.The house is spacious and all areas are accessible .The kitchen is wheel chair friendly and the whole home has been designed for independent living.All bedrooms have there own en- suite,and one having its own spacious wet room with digital shower so the water is at the right temperature before you go anywhere near it. There is a garden patio area that has a out door fireplace and BBQ area with purpose built gazebo and decking taking in the panoramic views of Craiga woods right down the valley to Cushendun Bay . Situated in the heart of the Glens makes it a perfect place for exploring the Giants Causeway, Glens of Antrim and Antrim Coast.Free internet is available.This area is very popular with walkers and cyclists,On the same site right next to the self catering unit we have a large B&B (URL HIDDEN) so between the both we can take large Groups weather it be Walking,Cylcing,Wedding Parties or large group contact us for details. Dry Room available.We are close to the Giants Causeway,Carrick-a-rede rope bridge,Bushmills Distillery,Dunluce Castle are all a short drive away.The Queen of the Glens Glenarife with its beautiful senery,Forest Walks and Waterfalls are all minutes drive from here,as is The Torr Head senic drive a must for its views of Scotland,
The Cottage is for your use only and consists of 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor, one is a wet room to help guests with mobility challenges . Kitchen ,lounge dining area, access to patio,decking,outside fire place, bbq area.
Although we live and run a b&b next door which is perfect if you have visitors over the maximum amount , we are hereto help with any questions or local advise if needed and not if you dont.
We are 2 miles from the National trust village of Cushendun with its Cornish style village square, harbour, pub ,restaurant, beech and Caves . 3 miles away is the village of Cushendall which has more restaurants and fast food and cafe options and bars. With Up stairs at Joes, Harrys and Mc brides restaurants recommended.
Hi I'm , I consider myself fortunate to have lived and grew up in this beautiful part of the Glens of Antrim.I have travel the world with my hobbies of scuba diving and also love open water swimming,cycling,running and Triathlons which is perfect for the area that i live in.
