This is glamping - Waiheke Island style. Located in a beautiful vineyard at the peaceful Eastern end of the island, Two Sheds is the perfect escape for couples or a solo adventurer.
You'll need a car to get here and to explore the nearby bays and wineries - so bring yours over on the car ferry or hire one on the island.
Located at the east end of Waiheke Island our vineyard sits on a ridge with breathtaking views east over the Waiheke Channel to Ponui, Rotoroa and Pakatoa Islands, and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula and Hunua Ranges.
To the west over the vineyard is the estuary of the Te Matuku Marine Reserve.
There are no shops located down this end of the island so come with essentials.
There is a double gas burner for cooking, a toaster, kettle and fridge.
Coffee, tea, milk and cereal will be provided. Filtered drinking water is also provided.
The original ‘twosheds’ are where we camped on weekends while establishing the property and are still enjoyed by friends and family looking for a rustic vineyard getaway.
The sheds are separate from the house, in a sunny location within the vines, adjacent to regenerating bush.
If you have any questions about your stay on Waiheke, please ask, I'd be happy to help.
Please be advised that Waiheke has a total fire ban at the moment.
I am passionate about New Zealand and its beautiful landscapes. Particularly our coastlines, beaches and outer islands, inherited from the typical 'kiwi' family summer holidays.
This is a unique and special part of Waiheke and we enjoy sharing it with others, connecting people with nature.
The first thing we did when we bought our property, was to build the first shed. It is from the sheds, 'Two Sheds' as the locals named us, that we started to develop the property, first timber trees, bush and wetland restoration and then the vineyard, named 'view east vineyard'.
