A large dining table overlooking Cedar Trees Park is a friendly playground for kids. We have several outdoor seating areas for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee. CANAM GOLF HOUSE supports and promotes individuals and organizations in maintaining health environment, history, art, culture, and education for the communities in Great Lakes both in US and Canada.
This historical house was built in 1984 and was renovated in 1991 by the family who settled down in Bruce Peninsula in 18th century. During renovation maple trees grandma planted near Miller Lake were used for flooring in living and dining rooms. Interior house walls were built with oak trees.
Once you will be our guest, you’ll feel home with our traditional and modern European & Canadian living style & flavor of taste and feel. Our CANAM GOLF HOUSE is surrounded by apple, birch, maple, and cedar trees with full feel of privacy and serenity.
CANAM GOLF HOUSE provides impeccable comforts and delights of convenience. The good looks of custom kitchen with appliances assist from snacks to supper and serves well by the eating bar, stunning granite counter tops.
Enjoy family friends’ get-together to watch evening sky or just enjoy solitude on deck. Take advantage of every pleasant day with the patio. Also deserving of attention are vaulted ceilings, skylights, ceramic tile flooring and wood flooring, ceramic tile baths with soak tub, formal dining room, washer/dryer, finished lower level, large trees, and warm and charming atmosphere! Short drive to town, shopping, Bruce Peninsula Park and sand beaches. This is an amazing house to stay and enjoy vacation.

We will be able to provide help with access to CANAM GOLF HOUSE or if any issues with cottage equipment or sewage system. We have Property Manager and Maintenance Team. Contact info you can find in Guest Manual placed in the Golf House.
NOTE: If you booked property and decided to cancel (at any point of time after booking completed), I will not be able to do anything at my end, this is not part of cottage service (how clean is a cottage, communications - welcome package/details provided or not, fridge is working or not - it's always ON but you need to regulate temperature - it's not part of service, etc). You accepted rent terms when you booked cottage. Pls make sure you are fully aware of rental terms prior booking!

Please send me your email and phone number for communication purposes.
If you don’t follow rules/instructions and anything happened during your stay it is your responsibility not the owners of the cottage.
If it says septic system allows only certain number of people and you invited guests and as a result issues with septic you have to pay emergency company visit to fix it.
If we asked to turn on and off electrical you have to follow, if you by mistake forgot to turn on fridge / didn't regulate temperature it is your issues that food spoiled not the cottage owners.
Our Cottage is a very quiet and private place and we do best to keep it nice and clean and expect our guests to appreciate, follow house instructions and leave place clean with no damages.
Please familiarize yourself with our cottage prior your visit.
Hope you will find all basic amenities and necessities of daily life in the cottage for your comfortable stay.
Minimum age of Booking Requester / Group Lead is 25. Maximum of 6 people (children included) due to water and Septic bed limitations.
Check-in any time after 4:00 pm, Check-out – by 11:00 am. Please adhere to check in and check out timings.
Please respect our neighbors regarding noise.
Garbage and Recycle - You will need to take garbage to the garbage facility on the way back home, I provided details. Recycle items such as bottles, pop and beer cans you can keep in a recycle box.
Kitchen - if possible don't leave dirty or wet dishes in the cabinets; please wash, dry and place cleaned dishes back to cabinets. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you may need.
Furnace – If you uses thermostat to regulate cold/hot temperature in the cottage please turn off furnace thermostat. If cottage you are staying in have electrical boards please don’t use as we are using only propane furnace.
Lights – Please make sure indoor and especially outdoor lights are turned off at the end of your stay.
Fridge – Please regulate temperature as needed. As soon as you arrived please check fridge to make sure it is in a ‘cold’ position. Please don't leave any food in the fridge at the end of your stay.
All electrical equipment - Please turn off all electrical equipment at the end of your stay.
Doors and Windows - We have 3 entrance/exit doors in the cottage; please check to make sure all doors are locked. Windows - if you open windows could you please lock at the end of your stay.
Washrooms – Please follow instruction provided in the washrooms. We had a bad experience with tenants clogged the toilet with a hard paper and repair cost was significant. Septic System is different in rural areas than in the cities.
Complimentary to use - Whatever you will find on the kitchen counter-top or on the dining table is a complementary for you to take or use. Water bottle on a shelfs in dining room we keep for emergency needs, if you will use we will charge $1 per bottle.
Items to bring - Water as we have well water in the cottage, home indoor shoes with you to use inside the cottage. We need to make sure no scratches, dirt, etc. left on the floor. Bring beach towels with you.
Stock of dry food and water in case of emergency - We keep extra bottle water and dry items in the cottage in case guests forgot something and need to use as emergency, but we are asking guests or replenish if items depleted or leave some money on the kitchen table at the end of their stay with us.
BBQ – Please clean BBQ at the end of your stay. Could you pls refill BBQ tank at the end of your stay if empty.
Items we provide - toilet paper, bathroom towels, linens, soap, shampoo, cleaning materials, coffee filters, and garbage bags.
Laundry – Please do not wash towels and linens at the end of your stay. Keep linens on the beds and used towels put near washer and dryer.
Cleaning Services – Price we are charging guests for cleaning services includes only laundry and light cleaning/organizing cottage (indoor cleaning and outdoor grass cut, recycle removal, fire pit clean up, etc.) to make sure it’s ready for the next guests. Guests still need to leave cottage clean / fill in self-check out list.
Fire Pit – We provide some logs near fire pit, but please buy wood logs on HW 6 if you want to use more. Please don’t cut any trees, trees brunches or collect any logs you may find on the property land.
Furnace – If you are booking CANAM LAKE HOUSE please note we are not using electrical boards, only propane forced air you can control through thermostat. If you are booking CANAM GOLF HOUSE with us you need to regulate temperature through thermostat.
Could you please leave cottage as you received it! We are sharing our homes with YOU and YOUR GUESTS on AirBnB and appreciate YOU and YOUR GUESTS to use what we provide with a care.
Please do not dig rare flowers like wild orchids, etc. on the property and in Bruce Peninsula! Please protect environment for next generations!
