Stonetown is situated in the heart of Zanzibar and is the world cultural heritage site with visible history in their buildings and places.
My place is a 150 years old building, restored from the rubble. Once a German Post office in (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Zanzibar is known worldwide for its history.
Its a 2 storey house with 2 entrances. There are several large rooms (only 1 available for guests) and a dining/living area and of course washrooms. There's a covered terrace with a beautiful view where guests can enjoy open daylight.
As a home, kitchen shall be accessible anytime for tea/coffee etc.
A guest shall have a door key/keys for both entrances; front/rear for anytime access. Bicycles available if needed.
I am available always, if any help shall be needed not only in the home but also provide assistance in case one needs.
Avoid eating seafood at the Forodhani Park - the seafront garden (formerly known as Jubilee Garden) for hygiene reasons.
Before 1964, as a main trade hub for East Africa and well known by its production of spices - Cloves being major commodity. The Stonetown is built with Indian and Arabic architecture who were the first settlers. The Shortest war ever recorded in 1896 lasted less than 45 minutes and has an amazing history.
