Set in 2 sq k of cedar, oak and rhododendron in the splendid Himalayan foothills: 6,808ft. Overlooking the Kangra and Kullu Valleys and residence of HH the Dalai Lama. This beautiful corner of India has the snowcapped Dhauladhar mountains as a spectacular backdrop – with stunning views from our garden 4 k above Mcleodganj. Relax in complete tranquility: lots of wildlife and hundreds of birds live here as there are no other hotels, shops or roads nearby to disturb the peace.
You will feel serene as soon as you enter. This is a spacious corner room situated on the first floor with wonderful views of the mountains. Muted creams and greens and artworks make this a restful, peaceful place, with doors onto the verandah and a large pink granite bathroom to complete its comfort. A double/twin room, it can easily accommodate extra beds if needed.

- Water is precious to us as we believe in rainwater harvesting, so use wisely
- Guest must arrive before dark as roads are not accessible
- Maintain the decorum of the place as we live here
I came to this hill in Dharamshala approximately 33 years ago, because I love the natural mountan environment, and all the wild-life. My partner Bo and I decided to live here and create a beautiful eco-friendly place for like-minded visitors.
