This private, cozy home is the perfect retreat to get your "Zen" on for your next stay away. Whether your travels are for work or play, you'll be conveniently located to many major grocery stores, shopping centers, antiques and boutiques, 4 major golf courses, 5 minutes from the nearest interstate, 25 minutes from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport , 5 minutes from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and roughly 20 minutes to Pinewood Studios and Senoia, home of The Walking Dead.
#1 Rule: Relax! Feel at home at our home!
#2 Rule. Have a great time without breaking the rules!
#3 Rule. Please read thoroughly below the boring, but necessary, detailed, expectations from your Host regarding your visit to ensure both parties have peace of mind and feel comfortable about your upcoming visit and help you decide if our space is the right place for you.
You must be 22 years or older to book the reservation. (No exceptions)
Absolutely NO smoking indoors or outside near the doors! If you are a smoker, not to worry, there are plenty of designated areas for your "butts" outside. :)
1. We only allow 1 small, four-legged companions (under 25 lbs and fully house-broken, crate-trained, older than 6 months, and up-to-date on shots).
2. No large dogs (or large puppies) allowed during your stay.
3. Sorry, but no cats. I love cats! However, many guests are still able to suffer from cat allergies from your feline's furriness long after you have departed.
4. No furry (non-human) friends allowed on furniture at all (including the beds.)
5. There is an additional $150 non-refundable pet deposit so that we can have all the carpet and furniture professionally cleaned upon your departure. Non-refundable payment is due upon check-in.
To help us keep this retreat a real treat for future guest (and maybe a return visit from you), we also ask of you to respect the following:
Please do not wear your shoes in the bedrooms (which is the only carpeted area in the home). We have spotless, high-quality, lightly-colored carpeting that we like to keep fresh and stain-free so our guests can feel comfortable in a clean, cozy space.
Also, just a tip (to save yourself from losing your security deposit), it is highly recommended that dark beverages, such as coffee, red wines, teas, sodas, etc. stay out of the bedrooms as much as possible. Exception to this rule is when you need a glass of wine with your bubble bath, which is considered a 'Safety Zone' for spills. :)
If you plan on booking for more than six guests, you will need to send a "Request to Book". You can not use Airbnb's Instant Book for more than six guests. Maximum occupancy is 8.
Parties and Entertaining:
We encourage our guest to invite newly-made friends, coworkers or family members over for visiting and entertaining during their stay, but our home is located in a very quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, so large gatherings with loud music, drugs, and excessive drinking are not allowed.
Regarding the grounds:
Please remember to remove trash of any kind before leaving such as beer bottles, soda cans, cigarette butts, etc.
Fire Pit Rules:
If you use the fire pit (and we hope you do) please make sure that the fire is completely put out before retiring for the evening. The fire pit is off limits during burn bans. No large bond-fires, please!
I know that you may have felt like you just read a novel, but we just want to be sure that our guests are very clear of expectations to eliminate issues and allow guest to Instant Book and do Self-Check-In if preferred.
Our Guide Book and guest book are easily accessible with lots of information on great places to eat, grab a drink, where to tour, and where to go and who to call in the case of an emergency.
I am a happily married wife and mother to three amazing children. We live in the Fayetteville/Peachtree City area, and I have lived in Georgia for 25 years.
I am an Email Marketing Automation consultant who thrives on outlets that put my creative talents to good use. I love to decorate, repurpose old furniture, antique and treasure hunting, and gardening in my (scarcely found) free time.
My husband has worked for Nestle locally for the last 10 years, and he is an avid bass fisherman. So, if you have come to Georgia for fishing, we can definitely point you to the right spot.
Our family enjoys going to the mountains, camping and boating as much as possible.
We love to make new friends, and we are excited about the unique opportunity that Airbnb provides for building relationships.
As my favorite Aunt Yummy used to say, life is all about "Places to go, People to See, and Things to Do". We are excited to help you with that! :)
