The room was large, comfortable and as described in the listing. Everything was very clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. The bed was hard as we've come to expect throughout India. Deependra was very good with communication prior to our arrival and greeted us warmly when we did arrive. He kindly spoke to our driver to give directions to the house. There is no access by car to the front of the house but it's only a very short walk - 150m or so from where you can be dropped off. At the moment there are renovations going on in the building which is why I've not given this more stars. We weren't made aware of this before we arrived which I think Deependra should have done. My husband and I both got covered in falling dust and debris from stone cutting that was being done on the roof which went into our mouths and eyes. Not life threatening, but a fairly unpleasant way to arrive. When we left a bit later to get food my husband also had cement mix water fall all over his t-shirt which ruined it. Aside from those small inconveniences the renovation work begins super early in the morning and the workers play really loud music and make a lot of noise. We are not generally bothered by this but I think it's worth asking if the renovations are on going before you book if you want a peaceful time. The location is excellent and aside from the building noise it is far enough away from the city noise so once renovations are complete I would expect it to be a lovely place to stay. The renovations also mean that the cafe/restaurant is not open currently but there are plenty of great options a minute's walk away. Overall a pleasant stay and I would have no trouble recommending it once renovations are complete.
