Athina's place was a dream come true. Athina herself was so warm, sweet, and attentive. She was exceptionally good at communicating, always checked in to see whether we needed anything else, and went out of her way to get us extra things we needed such as cribs and high chairs for the babies, a hair dryer, etc. Athina met us at the port in Naxos and was so gracious even though our ferry was over an hour late arriving. She arranged for a rental car for us and even drove all of our luggage to the house in her own car. Once we arrived, we were welcomed with some lovely Greek snacks / treats, water bottles, and a bottle of wine!
The villa itself was incredible. We were two couples and our children (two infant boys under age 1) and we could have easily fit 2-4 more adults and more kids. Every bedroom has its own luxurious en suite bathroom, with amazing rain showers, lots of light and great toiletries, just like a hotel! The beds were super comfortable and there were lots of fresh towels.
The whole place was brand new and had every possible thing we could have needed. Stereo, huge TV with Netflix, super comfortable and large living space, and fully equipped kitchen that was ideal for us to make food at home (including blender, food processor, coffee maker, espresso maker, milk frother, every pot and pan, full dishes, lots of different types of glasses - literally everything!).
One of our favourite parts was the huge patio / balcony off the kitchen. A huge table that would easily fit 8-10 people, we ate breakfast and dinner there almost every day. It was fully enclosed so we could let the babies crawl around safely - they loved it! The balcony also had amazing views from every angle, including the beautiful sunset every night.
The villa is located a very short 5 minute walk to plaka beach, the most beautiful, soft white sandy beach on Naxos.
Another huge perk was the villa was cleaned by the wonderful Maria every day, so it always felt fresh and clean and we could really relax.
I can't recommend this place enough - I only hope we can come back some day.
Thank you, Athina!!
