Great place to stay. 24hrs Mart is at level 1. 2 ATMs available. There is a bread cafe next building. Great for breakfast. Delicious Vietnamese pho restaurant, small sushi restaurant, KFC. Going anywhere? Use Uber, cashless is better. Nguyen's place is a nice, clean and comfortable apartment. Everything is there.
I do recommend to choose this property because 1) the owner is reliable person and 2) it is readily accessible to shops and restaurants. Most vegetables, instant noodles, snacks, limited range of frozen fish and meats were available at the shop on the ground floor. There are restaurants of Vietnamese noodle, Sushi, Café and bakery in a nearby place. The Sushi Restaurant was a true one and would not disappoint any Japanese too with affordable prices. I was familiar with Saigon in the late 1990s and the early 2000. The view from the room on 9th floor was surprisingly different from the landscape with which I was familiar. There were construction works going-on in every corner of Saigon now. I felt as if I were staying in Shinjuku of Tokyo during the rapid growth period. But the extent of convenience is comparable with that of Tokyo today. There were Japanese housewives who were sending their children to kindergarten. This demonstrates that the property is also suitable for long-term occupants.
Nguyen's apartment is clean, the bed is comfortable and it's in a good area - close to the city centre but not so busy. The Manor apartments are well built, well soundproofed and maintained really well so the pool area is really good and clean. Just behind the building is a great part of old Saigon, full of shops, cafes and street food in narrow alleys. We loved it there.
