If you don't know this area already, you will love it! Kew Gardens is very near, and there are restaurants, coffee shops in Kew Village.
Kew Gardens Station (7 mins) and Richmond Station (20 mins) both offer tube and rail services, we are a minute's walk from the bus stop into Richmond.
Access to central London is very easy (30 mins on the tube). More locally, there are river walks at both Kew and Richmond, as well as the lovely Richmond Park, of course, a short bus ride or drive away.
This double room is wonderfully light, with a bay window, and the bed is very comfortable. This is a large, well established family house, with no children. My husband and I enjoy welcoming visitors of all nationalities here.
You are welcome to share the kitchen and use the garden too. us of the kitchen: you are welcome to store a few things in the fridge or store cupboard, prepare basic meals or heat things up in the oven or microwave, as required.
We are a family of four, my husband, myself, and two grown-up children, Juliet and Tristan, who are in their twenties. My husband and I may be away for some of the time during your stay (if you are making a longer booking), but one of the family will always be on hand to help. We will always be here to welcome you at the start and say goodbye at the end of your stay.
I am married with 4 grown up children, some of whom have flown the nest, and some not. I have worked over the years in teaching and publishing, and latterly have been running a children's library in a local primary school. Now we have a couple of spare rooms, we enjoy sharing our space with visitors to this lovely part of London. We also enjoy travelling and getting to know other people and other cultures.
I also enjoy cooking, music and singing, my husband is the sports enthusiast! We both enjoy theatre/cinema, and spending time with friends and family. We have recently been travelling in Burma, so all my cooking has been with lime, chili and ginger!
