Beautiful, just renovated, loft apartment in Central Amsterdam looking over the Amstel. Large living area on several levels, 2 double bedrooms (the 2nd double room is a mezzanine, reached by a short ladder). The view is amazing incl. Rijksmuseum, Carre, Amstel hotel, Stopera/Muziektheater, Zuiderkerk in the Nieuwemarkt.. Fantastically located incl. transport links 5 mins from canal belt in de Pijp - great cafes, restaurants, pop up, boutique local shops, Waterlooplein/ Albert Cuypstraat markets.
The apartment is at the top of a classic Dutch house on the Amstel water, and benefits from double height and great light throughout and many original features. There are two double rooms - the main bedroom with a king size Coco-Mat bed, the second is a mezzanine sleeping area (queen size double with a latenbodem and Coco-Mat style third layer mattress) reached by a short ladder.
All of the living space is available for you to use when you stay. The top floor position means it's both close to the centre and very quiet in the flat so a great place to relax and chill out - and enjoy a beautiful view if you want to from the window seat. Please note that if you wish to use the roof terrace you do so at your own risk.
I tend to rent the flat only when I am travelling. I therefore have a host on hand in Amsterdam who can help with questions and am available by text for any queries. There is plenty of information in the flat, and several guidebooks and maps. Occasionally I do welcome guests!
- Noise to be kept to a minimum from 11 pm
- No extra guests than those staying in the flat please
- Please only sleep in the bedrooms, not in other spaces in the flat
- No smoking of any kind
- No drugs
I'm a creative entrepreneur, producer & consultant and work with some amazing cultural organisations all over Europe. I love to travel, read widely, and also treasure coming home to this beautiful apartment with a beautiful view, which is very easy to relax and escape in. I've lived in Amsterdam for 4 years (after 20 in London) and now call this city home.
