Patrick's place is very well situated and a 5 min walk to the U8, which is good for connections if needed and getting across the city. The apartment is spacious enough for maximum 2 people (I think) but could sleep more as there is a couch and a large bed. The bed is comfortable, and the apartment has some kitchen utensils with a fridge, small freezer, electric hob and oven, kettle and washing machine. The bathroom has exactly what you need. The balcony is a real positive - it was great to chill there in the morning with a coffee or read my book if I was chilling out. The wifi is excellent! There is a Lidl nearby and plenty of cafes, etc.
As a host, Patrick was great at communicating his check in procedures and he met me at the apartment. Was a very positive interaction.
The only two negatives I have - and this may be down to the apartment being a little dated - are:
1. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner - mainly the hob cover - and the kettle needs replaced or de-scaled.
2. The shower is a little annoying as it changes temperature a lot and you have to hold it as the pole is weirdly positioned. So you find yourself alternating between holding the shower head and playing with the temperature. I'm someone who loves a good shower so I'd get this fixed quick. The water pressure is good though!
Thanks for the stay :)
