Amanda, we are very sorry that the stove oven went out prior to your arrival, but as I kindly mentioned on the phone the cook top on the stove still worked, the microwave in the unit worked and there were grills available for all guests poolside. Unfortunately we live in such a rural location that Lowe's, Home Depot and HPM did not have a drop in stove in their inventory for us to replace prior to the end of your stay. Owners had to order one from the mainland and it took a bit of time to get here to Hawaii. I did offer to explore the option of moving you to another unit as we discussed and you opted to stay in that unit rather than move to a unit with a working oven. We hope that despite the oven not working you were able to have a wonderful vacation and in the future should you decide to visit us again, please reach out to us again and we will definitely give you a discount on a future stay for this unforeseen inconvenience.
