This house is in the heart of the safe and upscale neighborhood known as Wooster Square. You are within a ten minutes walking distance to the main Yale campus, shops, bars and restaurants.
This is the best bargain you will find in New Haven. The Yale neighborhood known as East Rock / Whitney Ave / Orange Street area, is further away from Yale, and shared Airbnb apartments there are double the price. All hotels located downtown cost at least $100 a night, and for $100 you will be sleeping on a hard bed with springs in your back, and your room will smell like bug spray and Lysol, with a loud heater or AC blasting in your ears. The bed in this room is less than a year old. This room is no frills. You will be sharing this apartment with quiet, respectful Yale grad students in their 20s and / or international young travelers from all over the world.
Most guests are in a Yale program
I live in New Haven so I am only ten minutes away.I am available most of the time, except for Friday nights and Saturday days, if you have any trouble getting in touch with me please contact Natasha at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
You can check in as early as you want if you just want to leave off your luggage. This is an old house built in the late 1800s, do not expect a newly renovated modern home
Check in and check out times are very flexible, depending on how busy I am, please inquire. The room is usually ready in the early afternoon. If you need to get in earlier let me know. Most Fridays are blocked. If you need to book a Friday you would need to reserve a minimum of two nights with the Friday. Let me know and I will unblock the Friday.
