Designer sanctuary: nicely sized home perfect for a base to relax from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne and Fitzroy. This is my home and not a run of the mill Airbnb, so please respect the space as a special place.
Triple levels of relaxed, calm spaces. Minimalist vibe. Nice art work. Lots of plants. North facing lots of light. Great balcony for people watching.
Huge master bedroom on top floor with large ensuite, shower and spa bath for relaxation vibes. TEMPUR mattress is the ultimate in comfort. Great for those that appreciate views over the treetops and roofs of Fitzroy- you can catch views of churches, at night the moon light streams in.
The middle floor is the living-kitchen-dining space plus north facing balcony. Soft velvet lounge sofa (big enough for one or two people to sleep on), big curved screen with Apple TV, large kitchen for cooking, large double door fridge, timber floors, east and north facing light.
Balcony has lots of plants- aiming to be a jungle :)
SONOS sound system on all floors.
Entry on ground floor>

walk up second stairs to second floor containing master bedroom/ bathroom/ spa/ laundry :)
I'll be away for the time that you will be there, but feel free to message (airbnb or iMessage) if you have any questions!
The ground floor is a self contained mini-hotel apartment listed separately.
Smoking on the balcony is OK, just not inside please :)
Kindly keep noise to a minimum after 11pm, we like our neighbours :)
Please take care of the art work and delicate objects, my collections of ceramics, glass and art have been bought on journeys around the globe and are very special to me. You'll notice these items around an I trust you'll take good care :)
I was born and bred in Melbourne, Australia, a design savvy city, which I guess turned me into a designer.
I run my own business in designing and building architectural lighting, and have a small team that I manage. Every day we create heirloom quality lighting for a range of clients, mostly abroad.
Architecture and geography make me tick. Travel is another passion and vice that I undertake as often as possible, usually more for work. Meeting people and sharing culture I believe makes for a global community.
I eat everything. Love home-cooked, the organic, the considered and the cultured.
I like to be neat and orderly - organise my sock drawers and t-shirts- and also love to have spontaneous times too- the essence of living. Hiking, gym, swimming and nature are part of my oxygen as much a a great urban lifestyle of coffee and books and magazines!
