My place is close to Max Weber Platz , Bayerische Staatsoper, Prinzregententheater, Deutsches Museum, Munich Gasteig and Old Town.
I stayed at Jeff's after deciding to extend a business trip a couple of days to check out the city of Munich. When I reserved the room, Jeff was on a trip of his own but had a friend meet me at the apartment to give me the keys. They were both very helpful in getting me settled in. The last day I was in town, Jeff also arrived back in and offered to take me around town to grab drinks and show me some of his favorite places. It turned out to be a great little tour of Munich and I got to see quite a few neat attractions. Although he has not lived in Munich long, he still knew a lot about the town and provided a very interesting night. The apartment is also very close to many attractions and I was able to walk where I wanted to go for the most part. Would definitely recommend the stay.
When we arrived there were no towels in the apartament. We had to waste time buying towels, and we didn't come to Munich for buying towels. Kitchen was not clean enough, (frying pan with a lot of oil, dirty coffee machine) and we couldn't have breakfast or dinner as we normally do in other airbnb houses where we have been before. There was only one bed linen even we were two people so we couldn't sleep properly. Bathroom was not clean enough. There was food in the fridge and 2 nearly empty soap bottles in the bathroom, empty crystal and plastic bottles near the kitchen bin: seems the owner just left the house because he was on a trip and come back in a few days, but not thinking guests were arriving in between. Communication was not the best, until nigh before we didn't know how or who was going to give us the key. If we don't ask first don't know what could happen. So not a responsable host and we do not recommend it. Xavi and Carol
