Spacious and cosy family home in a quiet neighborhood, very centrally located with good public transport links tor Den Haag, the beaches at Scheveningen and Kijkduin, Delft and indeed the whole Randstad. The house is a large family home and has all the equipment and comforts you could wish for. There are lots of restaurants in the immediate area and the historical centres of Old Voorburg and Old Rijswijk are a short walk from the front door.
We have four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, both with bath and shower, two separate toilets, and lots of space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, microwave-combi oven, dishwasher, large (90cm) electric oven, slow cooker, juicer, blender, rice cooker, coffee percolator, kettle, toaster, large fridge and small freezer, and all the utensils, pots, pans and tools you could ever want - we even have a salad spinner and a potato ricer! :o)
We have a large (8 kilo) washing machine and a condenser-dryer. We also have a hanging rack for those clothes that can't be tumble-dried. A large ironing board and a steam iron are also available.
There is a Bang & Olufsen CD player, and a flatscreen Philips Ambilight TV connected to basic Dutch cable TV (including BBC1, BBC2 and various German channels) and an Xbox 360, on which you can watch films via Netflix or on a memory stick.
There are lots of books and games for all the family on the shelves and in the cupboards. We also have an electronic piano and drumkit. Please feel free to make use of them!
Guests have access to the entire house.
A host will be standing ready for you before and during your stay. He will provide you with tips and guide you through the house when you arrive. Also he will provide you with a phone number you can call in case you have questions, or need help.
From Friday 1700 to Monday 0800, on-street parking in the neighbourhood is free.
Outside of those times we have free, all-day on-street parking (with a permit) for ONE VEHICLE ONLY. Additional vehicles can be parked free for two hours at a time (with a dashboard parking clock), but not longer than that. Alternatively, vehicles can be parked in a nearby paid parking garage, or in free on-street parking spaces around ten minutes' walk away.
