This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Small but perfect for one or two persons! Nice and quiet area but not too far from the city. Supermarkets are right outside the flat! Bus stop right around the corner and 25 min bus to the city. Mark was an amazing host! He was extremely understanding and accommodating. He let us check in earlier and check out later because of our flight times. The apartment was very clean. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Mark!!
This well-presented studio provided a lovely stay in a great suburban area. It's well maintained, arty, simple and cosy. The bed is on the floor so be mindful if you struggle to get down (and back up). The pillows are good quality. There are a few flights of stairs to climb but being on the top floor provides a nice view of the trees outside the window and a beautiful breeze blows through. The complimentary ear plugs provide a welcome relief from the flight path which can start early in the morning. There is a parking space and friendly neighbours. The location is reasonably close to Norton Street where there are cafes and restaurants, and a Dan Murphy's closeby too. There are lovely amenities in the bathroom which is a thoughtful touch. The kitchen has what you need and a fridge with some goodies in it. I would recommend this apartment for solo's or couples. Mark and Jessica are lovely to communicate with and checking in and out was easy.
We stayed in Mark's studio for two nights, a short break of our road trip. It is a cosy place but enough for a comfortable stay for two. We were initially not sure about the futon (Mark said he is going to install a wall bed to replace the futon), it turned out surprisingly comfortable and quite fun. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to make simple meals, the bathroom is clean with fresh towels and shampoo provided. The car park was a bonus as we had a car. We took Lightrail to Fish Market and Darling Harbour, the trip was about 20 minutes and the train station is 5 minutes walk. There is a local shopping mall just down the road about 3 minutes walk, which was very handy. There are a few bus lines to city as well, the bus station is in front of the local shopping centre. The food options are amazing in this suburb, so many restaurants and cafes along the Norton Street, the centre of "Little Italy", we had the most authentic Italian dining experience there.
