Light and clean private retreat with courtyard and garden outlook.
Perfect for working professionals who need accomodation mid week.
Also suitable for a quiet weekend away from the city.
Not suitable for children or pets
Private entrance to your own private studio on the lower level of our house with your own ensuite shower and toilet. Towels and fresh linen provided.
30 minute walk to Blairgowrie shops, 20 minute walk to Tyrone beach foreshore.
Being on the lower level of our home, with sliding doors out to west facing garden outlook, the studio remains extremely cool in summer and nice and cosy in winter. There are blinds on all windows and doors, that allow a beautiful dappled light with the view to outside, whilst your privacy still remains complete, from outside looking in when the blinds are drawn.
Entrance to the studio is through sliding doors, and sliding fly screen security door which still
allows you to enjoy air flow and a breeze, whilst you have a siesta or read a book, listening to the sounds of birds and parrots or the roar of the surf at high tide!
There is a super comfortable QB, (everyone raves about this bed apparently!!) a T.V, fridge, crockery, toaster, microwave, hangers and space to hang your clothes or drawers for folded items. A kettle, iron, ironing board and hairdryer also provided.
A small table where you can sit and eat or have a glass of wine inside or out and listen to the sounds of the surf. (Wine glasses and coffee mugs also provided of course!).
We also include croissants and jam and some milk for your breakfast for the first night only. However Blairgowrie shops are only a 2 min drive or a half an hour walk and the beach is also only a 20min walk.
Whilst our garden is private, guests can enjoy the outlook and have access to their own private courtyard where there is a table and chairs to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine.
We welcome answering any questions or assisting with recommendations of restaurants or things to do on the Mornington Peninsula as we have extensive knowledge of the area and are foodies ourselves!
Unless you request, we are just as happy providing our guests with privacy.
Please kindly note, that we do live upstairs so you will occasionally hear some light movement above.
- Whilst we want your stay to be as hospitable as possible, please respect our neighbours and residents who occupy the home above. No loud music, or schoolies and no additional people or visitors, other than the two booked guests, allowed on our property at any time, thank you.
We look forward to making your stay as hospitable as possible. Thank you.
Friendly, fastidious, outgoing, social, resourceful and helpful.
I love a glass of wine, cooking great food, visiting local wineries, exploring our beautiful beaches, respecting the environment, keeping fit and enjoy meeting new like-minded people.
