A luxury cabin nested on a mountainside surrounded by 50 private acres. Private and yet minutes away from Pilot Mountain, Mount Airy, and all the many wineries, shops, parks, and outdoor recreations.
Our guests have access to our cabin and 50 beautiful acres featuring lawn, woodland, pasture, and picnic areas. Folks especially enjoy our hilltop gazebo.
We usually are able to meet and greet our guests as they arrive and give them a quick tour of the property. After that we are on standby should any particular needs arise.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in and on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
The cabin is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
Only use appliances for their intended uses.
Pets are permitted in the cabin and on the property only with prior approval, a non-refundable deposit, and the Pet Addendum must be completed.
Vehicles & Parking: Unless otherwise negotiated, parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the entry road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
ABSOLUTELY NO off-road motorized vehicles including ATV’s, motorized bikes, or other types of equipment that can damage the terrain. Guests’ cars and trucks must remain on graveled roads and parking areas.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin. A washer, dryer, and iron are provided for guest use.
Fireplace: The fireplace is a vented propane gas log fired firebox. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. Fireplace is turned off from May through September and not operational during this time of the year.
Water and Septic: The cabin is on a well and septic systems. If there’s a power failure, this will cause little or no water flow. In such cases, please use the toilets sparingly until power is restored. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. NO feminine products, diapers, and such should be flushed at anytime. Lidded trashcans are provided in each bathroom to dispose of non-flushable items. If it is found that non-flushable products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages of up to $1,200.
No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.]
No refunds will be given for local or regional power failures or interruptions.
