When staying here you can sense the history of the place. The apartment is located in a 17th century stone building set on a quiet pedestrian street on the Marais district. The apartment was an artist’s studio that I turned into a cozy apartment, it just has been completely renovated in 2016.
Visitors will be surprised by how sophisticated, yet rustic and full of charm the space is.
It is very comfortable with all the modern amenities.
When renovating, I have kept the rough, authentic beauty of the space, emphasized by leaving certain essential materials exposed, such as the wooden beams and the stone masonry.
It is located on the ground floor (first floor American), the entrance door gives onto a pedestrian and quiet side street in the Marais. This is a cozy and intimate space, that envelopes you in privacy. It feels more like a country cottage than a big city apartment.
It offers everything you need for a perfect stay : a large bed (63 in × 79 in), a fully stocked kitchen, a bathroom including a large Italian shower, a washer-dryer, a wardrobe to store your clothes, a couch to relax... A place where everyone would feel comfortable and at home.
Moreover, thanks to its very central position, the main tourist points are within walking distance: Pompidou Centre, Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre museum, Picasso, Carnavalet museums and many more...
The immediate area has an abundance of restaurants, cafe's, bars and shops of every description. Moreover, the luxurious department store “BHV Marais” and the Rue de Rivoli is just at the corner…
Metro station "Hôtel de ville" is at the doorstep.

I have been thru all the process to fulfill the local rules. I have got permission to rent out that place all year around. No risk of cancellation with me!
With my guests' security in mind, a lost key would lead to change the whole lock (EUR450). Hence, this amount would be debited from the guest's damage deposit.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, toute clé perdue m'obligera à changer toute la serrure (450 euros), somme qui sera déduite du dépôt de garantie du vacancier. La facture du serrurier sera produite sur demande.
I love nature and animals, I am in the picture with Djocko, a wonderful dog! I also like trekking (also in the picture! )
I used to work in fashion -with an American designer- for years and currently work in the humanitarian field. I know! this is completely different! But life is made up of meetings with people who give you opportunities to do different things :)
As a hobby I also like studying history and art.
Renting out my artist studio gives me the opportunity to meet Airbnb-ers coming from all over the world and I think this is a real human adventure!
