Our lovely country house by the Wadden Sea (UNESCO's World Heritage List) is worth the visit at any time of the year. Discover Nordic hospitality paced by the tides and enjoy everything the North Sea can offer: walks along the foreshore, bike rides, fishing, trips to Denmark and the islands (seals), or a visit to the Foundation of expressionist artist Emil Nolde. Or you can simply indulge in the joys of taking things easy, contemplating the peaceful surroundings, taking a sauna and relaxing.
The Wadden Sea, flat lands, sea walls, vast expanses and sheep as far as the eye can see.
Quiet, dark nights and a splendid starlit sky. Solitude and inner peace are what guests who spend their holidays at "Schnurrum" appreciate. Our farm is steeped in the history of North Frisia and the Heisler family to whom these fertile lands have been home for more than a century. Visitors from near and afar have always been welcome in our home ideal for connecting with yourself, resting and recharging your batteries. Jutta Heisler has renovated the former farm with great attention to detail to create a fine example of warm North Frisian hospitality. Her thatched-roof gem has thus earned 4 stars. The old rustic furniture and fittings and her own ceramic works make the dwelling a haven of peace.
Guests have access to the garden and to our wellness room complete with sauna and Jacuzzi. And you can even enjoy a little table-tennis "out of the wind" in the recreation room :o)

"Einsamkeit macht süchtig", das ist mein Credo. Dennoch freue ich mich seit 36 Jahren über Gäste aus der ganzen Welt.
To me "Solitude is a delicious habit". Yet, for 36 years, I have loved welcoming guests from all over the world.
Pour moi « La solitude est une habitude délicieuse ». Et pourtant, depuis 36 ans j’accueille avec plaisir mes hôtes du monde entier.
