This one-bedroom home is located on five wooded acres, across the driveway from the host's primary residence. In the past, the home was used by my in-laws; they are now in a care facility. The location is very quiet with an on-site hiking trail through majestic evergreen trees. We are within a mile of shopping and dining facilities. We are within a half hour drive of Seattle and Everett, Washington.
The Airbnb rental space is an entire home, located above a 2-bay garage. The garage is used for parking our extra vehicles and is not available for guest uses. However, there is plenty of room for guest parking adjacent to the rental home. There is a chairlift on the stairs to the living area, if guests need mobility assistance.
Guests have access to the entire living space, which includes a family room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. A washer and dryer is available to guests within the garage.
I'm happy to help with directions to local areas of interest, and to assist with other information about the area we live in.
Outside parking adjacent to home.
Prefer that guests stay 3 nights or longer, to reduce the frequency needed for cleaning and preparation for new guests.
I am a mostly retired geological engineer. My wife, Jill, and I have been married for 43 years and have lived in Washington State since 1974. I enjoy hiking, photography, rock collecting, fishing and flint knapping. Jill spends much of her spare time with our dogs, preparing them for dog shows.
