My place is close to Ladybird Lake, downtown, airport, music venues, bars, restaurants, parks, hike & bike trail, and great for SXSW, ACL Fest, Formula 1, or just visiting Austin. You'll love the ambiance, the outdoors space, the location, the amenities, and my desire to help you have the best time possible while you're my guest. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) are welcome. Reviews for renting the entire home are here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/11445450
I'm a touring musician and love my home. I also love introducing people to Austin with suggestions for music, food, fun, or anything else you're looking for. You'll have your own bedroom with a queen-sized Zinus memory foam bed, closet space, and a desk/study area. We have gigabit fiber internet for all your surfing or business needs.
Important note: I like my neighbors. Please don't be loud or throw parties. Be considerate to everyone around you and everything will work out just fine.
The condo is basically a 10-minute drive or bike ride from anywhere you want to be. If you want (and you fit them) you can use my bikes to get around - I have a mountain bike and a road bike. The roadie has a flip flop hub so if you like to ride fixed gear you can. I'll set it up for regular riders so if you *haven't* ridden a fixie, you won't have any trouble.
There are electronic keyless deadbolts so you'll never have to worry about losing a key and you'll have access to everything except my bedroom – living room, kitchen, dining, and both bathrooms. Feel free to cook your own food, just please clean up after yourself.
I'll be as available as you wish, or leave you as much space as you wish. I'm an 11-time Austin Music Award Winner and love food, so if you want to see music or eat well, I'll be happy to help you make plans, or even take you out myself if I'm free.
But again, if you don't want to socialize I'm happy to stay out of your way.
- I love my place and I love my neighbors. The community is close-knit. Please respect them as if you lived here.
I'm a musician and founder of a startup, Patronism, and a nonprofit, the Live Music Capital Foundation. I love languages, and cultural studies. I speak Italian, can get by in Spanish and French, and will do my best to learn at least a few key phrases anywhere I go.
When traveling, I love meeting new people and experiencing a new place from a local perspective. I pride myself on leaving a place in better condition than when I found it, and always strive to be an exceptional guest.
As a host, nothing makes me happier than helping people discover the best parts of Austin, and make the best plans possible. I'm happy to be as involved with you as you wish, or leave you as much space as you need. When I'm home, I'll give you instant feedback in person and will be happy to invite you to social events when appropriate. When I'm on tour, you'll have the condo all to yourself but I'm still just a message or text away – think of me as "the concierge in your pocket." Overall my goal is for you to leave feeling like you had a phenomenal time, that you got great treatment, and that you'd come back without hesitation if the chance arose.
