The HH Whitney House is conveniently located close to the French Quarter, Treme, The Fairgrounds, City Park, Mid-City, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street and all sorts of historical sites, attractions, restaurants, clubs and shops. You'll love the proximity to area attractions, the relaxed atmosphere, the comfortable beds, the pool, hot tub and garden space and the historical charm of the home. Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and groups of up to 10 guests.
We rent individual rooms and suites of rooms (maximum five rooms available) but do not offer whole house rentals as the innkeepers reside at the home as well. Each room is furnished with with ceiling fan, safe, iron & board, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and Aromae-brand bath products.
Guests generally have access to their rooms and most common spaces throughout the home. While the kitchen is open for guests to retrieve a complimentary beverage or a snack, guests may not cook or otherwise prepare meals on premises.
Any planned gatherings (parties, meetings, outside meals being brought in to dine on site, etc.) must be cleared with management in advance and may be subject to additional fees. Please inquire with the innkeeper as to fee schedules for these types of events.
The innkeeper resides on premises and is generally available to answer questions, provide suggestions and guidance, and occasionally visit with guests. Staff may assist the innkeeper with breakfast and housekeeping duties.
Our amenities include an in-ground swimming pool with heated outdoor spa, a recently re-landscaped garden area, free wireless internet access and complimentary beverage and snacks.

Glen is a former Computer Systems/Analyst who has co-owned and operated his own bed & breakfast just outside of New Orleans' famed French Quarter since 1998. Glen is a New Orleans native and enjoys sharing his love of the city and the culture of the south Louisiana with his guests.
