This is a spacious studio apt in the lower level of our home - private entrance, coffee bar sink, fridge, micro, washer/dryer. Near old Ballard restaurants, marina/beach, Ballard locks, fish ladder, & Nordic Heritage Museum. Scenic walking area!
About the Unit
-Keypad entry. You'll be provided with a code to access the unit.
-We try to be (most) quiet between 10pm and 6am. We live upstairs with our child (infant).
-TV/Roku/HDMI. You are welcome to use your own Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, or Amazon Video account(s). You are responsible for charges & to sign out of your accounts when you leave. (In addition there is a DVD player, HDMI cable, and the TV gets about two dozen local channels.)
-Clean towels and linens are provided at the start of your stay. (There is no daily room service.)
-Please don't unplug or move appliances/furniture. Or bring your own heater(s) or high amp devices. Extra heaters are provided.
-We are sensitive to guest allergies and do not allow pets in the unit.
Noise, Patio, etc.
-Smoking outside is ok. Please don't smoke in the unit.
-Please keep voices reasonable on the patio, and be respectful of the neighbors.
- No parties, get togethers, Guest's guests or hookups. Only booked guests are allowed use of the unit (up to two adults).
-House doesn't have extra sound-proofing. Keep it family friendly & PG.
-Check In is required before 10pm and at an agreed upon time.
(Note: For safety - if Guest (s) arrive exessively intoxicated or under the influence they will not be invited on premises.)
-Valid ID is required with picture and name that matches booking.
-Please clean up after yourself (dishes washed, counter clean, etc.)
-Leave linen and towels as they are. We will wash them after you leave.
-Please depart by the agreed time. Overstaying your visit may result in additional charges (and in extreme cases eviction from the unit).
-Owner (host) retains right to cancel booking for reasons including but not limited to illegal activity, damage, excessive noise, additional guests, hazards, etc.
-Repair/Maintenance/Inspection. Owner (host) or owner's agent may enter property upon request. And/or as needed for the purposes of repair, maintenance, improvement, and inspection.
-Guest Use/Host Indemnification: Guest(s) are responsible for losses due to their use of the property, and items from the property, whether provided by the host (owner) or not, and including but not limited to, the use of - any exercise, sports, fishing, biking, games, equipment, etc.
-No leasing or subletting the unit.
-You agree as Guest(s) on the property for a limited stay, that you will vacate the premises at the end of your booked reservation, and leave the unit in good condition to avoid incurring additional charges.
We are both originally from the Pacific Northwest and were fortunate to settle in the Ballard area. We've fixed up the downstairs and we are now able to share the Ballard experience with you!
