This suite features a private entrance and patio. This space is 757 square feet and sleeps up to five. It has a private bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchenette, and its own washer and dryer. It's perfect for business travelers, vacationers, or anyone just looking for a nice resting point between destinations.
We have carefully selected and designed this space for comfort, function, and fun. The master bedroom has a full size bed with a 3 inch thick organic latex foam topper, supper comfy! The living room sofa boast two recliners in addition to the single reclining chair
I keep shampoo, conditioner, soaps, hairdryer, and basic first aid supplies stocked for your convenience. There is also a full sized washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets for your use. There are plenty of extra towels and blankets and the the space has its own thermostat.
All the artwork was created by me, my husband, and my children. We love arts and crafts. Netflix, an extensive VUDU movie collection, fire stick TV, and WIFI are included. Please note, I do not have cable tv!
In the kitchenette you will find a one of a kind rolling island/bar with a funky elephant mosaic surface. In the cabinets you will find everything you could need in your own home including coffee pot (including coffee, creamer, and sweeteners), basic seasonings, a blender, toaster, crockpot and anything else you can think of to do your own cooking should you choose to stay in and eat.
The private patio has a table and chairs as well as charcoal grill (I provide the charcoal).
We love to entertain and welcome visitors from all walks of life!
Dayton is Nevada's first settlement located just 45 minute from both Reno and Lake Tahoe. Historic Virginia City is only a 10 minute drive away. The state capital, Carson City, is 30 minutes away. I have lived here for over 30 years and would be happy to answer any question on where to eat and what areas and attractions are a must see!
Dayton is a small town that is attractive to those looking for some peace, guide and a star filled night sky. There are still plenty of restaurants close by if you want to go out or a nice kitchenette right here if you want to stay in. There is a beautiful river walk less than a mile away and tons of places for four wheel adventures.
My family and I live in the attached main house, so we may see you when we are coming and going. Additionally, it is important to note, our house is fully attached, so although we try to keep quiet, you will be able to hear us through the wall on occasion, especially our three year old! The sound is no worse than a hotel hallway though at worst, I promise! I try to always greet my guests shortly after arrival to say hello as well as be available to answer any questions and go over anything in the suite. Other than that I am happy to give my guests complete privacy or share a cup of coffee, whatever their preference!
This place is a great location off the beaten path. Those that love to visit for Nevada's many activities such as Street Vibrations, Hot August Nights, Air Races and numerous cook offs can save a ton of money by staying here and making the short drive. For classic vehicles and motorcycle travelers we are willing to provide garage accommodations for an additional fee!
Please respect the neighbors, including our family that resides in the main house, by keeping the noise level down from 10pm to 7am.
Please park on the street in front of the house or on the lower left portion of the driveway.
One dog is welcome up to 30lbs. A second small dog is possible with discussion. I'm sorry, but due to allergies there are no cats allowed. There is a private fenced area with deck for you and you fur baby (there is a dog door as well). I ask that you please clean up inside and out after your pet before checking out.
I must stress the importance of my NO smoking policy. This includes cigarettes, cigars, hookahs, and medical marijuana anywhere on the property.
Please remember, this is our home! We love it and love to share it in the beautiful condition it is in! Thank you!
