Rustic Cedar Cabin in the Woods by the Sea

2 - 12岁

This is where you go if you are looking for a true cabin experience. You are nestled in the woods of the Quinault Rainforest. It's the place to be if you are looking to get away from it all. The cabin is private and secluded. You can hear the roar of the Pacific Ocean, but the forest protects against the cold winds coming off of the ocean. This is a nature lovers paradise. You can't help but feel connected with the great outdoors, inside the cabin and out.

Our cabin is an actual cedar log cabin, with high vaulted ceilings. It is very rustic. The cedar logs are the first thing that you'll smell, upon opening the door. Our cabin is tiled, through out, for easy cleaning.
-Enjoy the warmth of our wood stove. We provide the firewood and kindling.
-There is a king size daybed in the living area. It has a memory foam topper, lots of pillows to lean back on, and the most wonderful hotel quality sheets.
-Dining Nook has a large dining table that seats six. You can enjoy watching the hummingbirds feed from the feeder while dining.
_The kitchen is well stocked, including a double basin, stainless steel sink. Cook up a delicious meal and eat inside or out.
-There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed, tall boy dresser, small TV with DVD player, and a beautiful view into the forest.
-The bathroom is tiled, with a large shower, and a window with a view into the forest. The shower has a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
-Enjoy the songs of all of the beautiful song birds and watch the hummingbirds buzz around and feed from the feeder.
-Enjoy the darkness of night. Do some star gazing or cozy up by the fire pit. Don't forget the smores!

We provide towels, sheets, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body&hand wash, and the kitchen has most of the basics like, salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar, etc.

We live in Seattle, and our property is not a managed property. We do have a lovely lady named Jaynie, whom cleans and stocks the cabin for us. During the colder months she will come early, turn on the lights and turn up the heaters.
If you absolutely need something, clean towels, sheets etc. Jayne can help, albeit, this may not be prompt, as she does live several miles away.

Point Grenville is the closest beach to our cabin and was a renowned surf
Unfortunately, this beautiful beach is now closed to non Quinault tribal members.
The closest public beach access is 5 miles south, on the 109, at Moclips Beach.
If you are visiting around the 4th of July, be prepared to hear fireworks.
The fireworks trigger our neighbors dogs to bark.
Our neighbor, from down the way, has a small farm. Brenda, has goats, chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, and a horse. Do expect to have a visitor or two, as they do wonder over, on occasion. They are all very friendly.

Our neighbor, from down the way, has farm animals, including dogs. They occasionally come over for a visit. They are friendly, but perhaps your pet would not like visitors. Something to think about, before booking.

Loved this little cabin getaway! Me, my mum, and our senior dog spent a couple of cozy and comfortable nights. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the atmosphere adorable! It had everything we needed! Highly recommend!

Very quiet and secluded spot, just what we wanted. Perfect for exploring the coast and west Olympic National Park. The cabin had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I have a recommend the cabin. The pictures are very accurate and the place is even nicer in person. A very charming and comfortable Cabin. I had a wonderful time with my friends. Nicole and Fernando was a great communicator and keeping the cabin well equipped and clean. I defenetl stay in there cabin again!

This wonderful cabin is exactly as represented: quiet, cozy, a great place to relax. It's a beautiful space full of character and comfort - with an updated kitchen and bath - but still a real cabin and not a house. I can't really do justice to the charm of this place, except to say that it would be an excellent place to bring a creative project and hunker down for a week. I spent two nights here and wish I could have stayed longer. Beach access at Moclips is quick and easy. If you decide to bring dogs, or if you are dog-shy, be aware that a group of the neighborhood dogs (who are friendly) will greet you when your car pulls in, and see you off with almost every departure.

We chose this very comfortable, well supplied cabin to be close to the Pacific coast beaches as well as Olympic National park. Thoroughly enjoyed going from Cape Flattery to Cape Disappointment as well as the park trails and rain forests.

Beautiful rustic cabin right on the ocean. It is a little remote but that is the charm of it. Highly recommended. The sofa bed was amazingly comfortable! Communication with Fernando and Nichole was excellent.

My wife and I own a general contracting business in Seattle, WA. We have two boys, a dog, and two cats.
We enjoy spending time together, cooking, baking, eating, listening to records, dancing, playing games, surfing, snowboarding, SUP, swimming, doing puzzles, hiking about, and spending time with family and friends.
When we travel we try to find remote destinations. The hustle and bustle of the city can become overwhelming, so it's nice to find places where we can totally relax and unwind.
Our cabin is our home away from home. We wish that we could spend more time there than we do, but we are so excited to share our little rustic space with the Airbnb community.
