This Victorian beauty was built in 1890 in the Gothic Vernacular style, and is on the historic registry. The rooms have tall ceilings, large windows and are often filled with beautiful natural daylight. We are located halfway up the hill facing downtown Astoria, with just a five minute walk to great restaurants and shops. You’ll love how quiet and comfortable this home is! You will have your own private bathroom, and access to the kitchen for coffee/tea in the morning.
The guest bedroom is located just off the dining room on the ground floor. A private guest bathroom is located next to the bedroom. The guest room bed has soft linen and cotton bedding, and plenty of pillows and extra blankets in the closet for your use. A desk and chair is included in the bedroom as well. The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and beach towels, as well as complimentary soap and shampoo. Guests can access their room through the main front door of the house.
You are welcome to access the kitchen for coffee and tea in the morning, and you are welcome to use the dining room. There is a private backyard 'patio' you are welcome to access, as well as a laundry room. Free wifi.
My boyfriend Joey and I are very friendly, but we also respect our guests space and privacy. If you need us for anything, we are happy to assist! We are also excited to make recommendations for good restaurants, beach locations, museums or any other tourist type attractions.
We have recently adopted an adorable corgi puppy! If you are uncomfortable with dogs or puppies, please keep this in mind.
During check in, I will either meet you at the house or at my shop Chariot downtown. I will determine which with you beforehand.
No smoking inside or outside the house.
