***I will be away for parts of August. Please book the entire apartment on my other listing. (Vintage Victoriana Chic Bloor-Yorkville Apartment)***
Close to the most convenient subway interchange Bloor-Yonge station, Yorkville Shopping, the ROM, University of Toronto, The Village, you'll love my decor (which I'm still working on) and that this is an older building that used to be the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. My place is good for business travellers, couples, and solo adventurers.
I moved in recently and the space is still unfolding as I'm in the process of refinishing furniture and conceptualizing art pieces to achieve the vintage Victoriana chic look.
This is a 1-bedroom apartment. You get the room and I sleep in the living room behind a curtain. Feel free to access the kitchen and dining area. There is no curfew but please be quiet when coming home after midnight.
Guests have access to ensuite laundry, kitchen and bathroom shared with me. There is a small fitness room in the basement. The roof terrace is just two storeys up.
I work long hours and am usually at at yoga studio or ballet studio in my spare time. I'm not at home much.
I don't mind having some conversations with my guests. But generally, I'm quite exhausted by the time I get home.
I made a map of the neighbourhood with my food recommendations and things to do. A printout is available to you in the bedroom.
There is a parking garage next to 30 Charles Street East. About a one minute walk away. Pricing:
$2.50 per half hour up to a maximum of
$6 overnight from 6pm to 7am
$14 day time from 7am to 6pm
1. No smoking allowed.
2. Don't drink my alcohol.
3. No noise after midnight.
Please do your socializing outside the apartment, i.e. visitors of guests should not hang out for long periods of time in the apartment during the evening. There are plenty of cafes, etc. nearby for that.
