Mainsail is a self-catering apartment on the 3rd floor of a much bigger house. Mainsail apartment has a shared terraced garden with a bbq and decking area with picnic bench seating. This space is great for all of your group to sit and enjoy some great food from the bbq and glass of wine. Or if you just want some peace and quiet to soak up the incredible view with a hot drink on a colder day.
The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and pots and pans. There is a gas/electric cooker, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
When you arrive at Clipper House, you will see that there are numbered parking spaces CH1 to CH12. Before your arrival I will just need to know how many spaces you require so that I can allocate spaces accordingly.
Mainsail apartment is only accessible from the back of the house. When you arrive and park, please walk through the open end garage to the back of the house where you will find a set of stairs leading to both of our apartments at the top of the house.
When you reach the top, Mainsails' front door is on the lefthand side, and there you’ll see the key safe. The code for the key safe will be given to you before you arrive.
I should more than likely be there for your arrival to show you in. This is simply to make your arrival just that little easier and nicer for you.
During your stay, if and when you need anything, or if you have any questions I am available by telephone. Also I live close by so travel for me is no issue.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is a £30 charge per dog which should be paid in cash on arrival.
- Breakages & Cleanliness: A property is made available for letting on the understanding that the property will be left clean and tidy, in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found, at the time of checkout and all personal waste must be removed from inside the property and placed in the dustbins provided. The customer will be held responsible for any damage or breakages to the property, caused by the customer and in the event of such occurrence, the incident must be reported to the Owner or their representative immediately and appropriate compensation made (and any items shall be replaced at equal value). Customers are not permitted to move any furniture or equipment without prior written consent from the Manager/Owner. In the event of such permission being granted, it is the customer’s responsibility to return the same to its original position before checkout. Under no circumstances must any furniture or equipment for use inside the property, be moved outside. Pets: Dogs are NOT allowed on the beds. Behavior: It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances the property Owner/s and the Company have the right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, in which case the Company's responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse the Company for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of your behavior. Warning: In Looe, there is a strict rule that noise of any description, such as music or television, must NOT be audible from outside the property after 10:30pm or we will be fined. Property Check-in / Check-out times: Access to properties will be after 4pm on your day of arrival to allow time for cleaning and servicing, and the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure (unless otherwise agreed by us in writing). Late check outs will attract a further charge. On check out, the property is to be locked and the keys returned in accordance with the arrival instructions given to the Occupier. Parking: Please do not park on the forecourt. The forecourt must be kept clear at all times for emergency vehicle access. Dawn road is a private road that belongs to Clipper House and is reserved for Clipper House guests only. We have 12 numbered parking spaces which will be allocated to you and your guests accordingly prior to your arrival. Personal belongings: Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property. It is your responsibility to ensure your personal belongings are kept locked away and out of sight.
