A 2 bedroom 100 sq.m home in Stoupa, both en-suite, with fantastic panoramic sea views. Modern climate control throughout (heat/cold) with temperature controls in every zone. Lovely modern open plan kitchen/diner. The new master bedroom and kitchen is hand made locally. The living room has a cozy living space, with a fireplace, and a guest toilet. There are mosquito screens throughout. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden offering great seclusion/privacy. Great for couples/families.
The construction of my holiday home was completed in 2012. Our main requirement during the design was for the house to include large windows offering great sea views. Natural stone was used as the main building material, which is visible from the outside but also partly from the inside. This home was constructed as a private holiday residence for us and not for renting or selling. The stonewalls of the house are 50cm wide and the house has modern double glazed windows and doors throughout which makes our home pleasant to live in all year round. Even in the month of August (usually the warmest month of the year) you open the windows/doors and there is a breeze most of the time, which means that you don't have to use the modern climate control.
Before we decided to put our place on Airbnb in summer of 2017 we made the following very important critical improvements:
We have installed a very modern and energy efficient central climate control system made by Carrier. The system, which includes a heat pump and fan coils, provides cooling and heating and includes individual thermostats in every zone (i.e. seating room, kitchen, master bedroom and secondary bedroom). The system can be run 24/7 so you have the perfect temperature in the house all the time during your stay. It is very rare to find such a modern system installed in the area in any other accommodation.
We have also installed a new, hand made locally, wooden master bedroom suite with a queen mattress (160 cm x 200 cm). The mattress is made by dunlopillo.
We believe that any traveler should be able to relax and rest during his holiday and we think that our space is ideal for this.
Hospitality is what characterises all of us (Greeks) therefore we do not offer self check-in. So one of us will be around for you during check-in (to Welcome You, show you around and hand over the keys) and check-out (to collect the keys and say Goodbye).
If you need anything during your stay we will be contactable 24/7.
We can also help you out with your transfer from Athens or Kalamata airport.
We can also assist with your car rental, if required.
To the rear of the property is a pretty enclosed garden with olive trees as well as a pomegranate, orange, mandarin, lemon and loquat tree. There is a perimeter fence all around the property and also a sliding wrought iron gate to the front. The whole property is for the exclusive use of the guests - i.e. there are no shared facilities.
There is also an outdoor shower to the rear of the property.

Please note that in order for us to declare any rental income to the Greek tax authorities, we need to request an ΑΦΜ number from any Greek traveler OR a Passport number from any foreign traveler.
