My place is 5 mins from Downtown and on the east side, exactly where you want to be.
888 Chinese (best in town), Emo's, Buzz Mill, Jackalope, Growler Room South, Thundercloud subs, all near. You’ll love my place because It's a Unique artistic space! Good for couples and solo adventurers.
My musician/artist studio is a little piece of Austin in itself. If your going to come to Austin, why not stay in a unique space with local art wherever you look. As you can see in the pics. Also pick up the local vibe before you even go out. You can almost hear my music playing throughout the whole space.
There is two pools in the complex along with beach recliners for sunbathers. There is also a beach volleyball court that you are more than welcome to take advantage of. On site there is also washers and dryers if any laundry needs done.
I meet my guests when they check in. I give them the key and answer any questions, along with the ten cent tour of the place. The only other interaction my guests will have with me during there stay, is texts to check in, just to make sure everything is going well. Along with answer any questions that might arise. When there reservation ends I will come and collect the key when the guests check out.
I do live in a gated community so if driving in through the gate, the code is # 1006 which will call me and I can open the gate from anywhere. The walk in gate code is 4125.
My building is # 10 which is the first building to the right after entering the gate. So after entering the gate park at first available spot. Unit number 1006.
I expect my guests to behave like mature adults. I would like them to be respectful to any and all of my belongings and rules for that matter. That includes the neighbors and the community at large. I want my home to be in the very same condition it was when I leave it with my guests. The place will be in tip top clean condition, so its actually a very reasonable request. They need to be clean and to clean up after themselves. Even with a cleaning fee, that doesn't mean dishes or trash or any kind of mess. That's a big one because I go to extreme lengths to get it clean for them. Therefore I expect the same attitude and attention in keeping it that way. The cleaning fee is there for insurance. If I get unlucky and my guests trash the place and a maid must come to clean the carpet for stains or any other extenuating circumstances. It's not for people to be dirty and irresponsible. No smoking and no guests. The only people I want to enter my home are the ones I meet and allow in. Essentially the guests liable for my home and belongings, no one else. Absolutely no pets. Last thing I expect from my guests Is to treat my home like it was there own and to have common respect and courtesy. I got into this for 1: extra income, 2: I like the whole idea, 3: meet new people from all over and build relationships. I won't trade that for stressful experiences or people that don't follow the rules. There here for a reason and if you do the right thing there won't be any problems with me. Breaking the rules means many things including compensation, but it also bands you from coming back. I want to build relationships with guests and build trust. It will only bring positive opportunities later down the road.
