I met my wife in Tagaytay 15 years ago when i was still working as a consultant for a multinational fast food company. Tagaytay's scenic "Taal lake view" is relaxing & captivating especially in the morning sipping a cup of coffee/tea with your special someone with the sun rising above its skyline, lake & volcanoes…we eventually got married in Tagaytay & our wedding photos were full of its view in the background. I have travelled a lot & comes with my job & knows the expectations of being clean & organised & smell of a clean room, restroom with toiletries & fresh towels, freshly made bed with fresh linens.
We are based now here in Brisbane, Australia & we had the opportunity to purchase a unit at SMDC Wind Residences Tower 3 facing Taal Lake with its own balcony primarily because it offers a stunning view of Taal Lake & a spot where we can always remember & reminisce how we started & built our dreams & we are still dreaming of a lot of good things to come.
The Unit hasn't been used & nobody has live there before except just last month( October 2016) when we went home, have the unit slightly renovated, freshly painted & fully furnished. We stayed there briefly 3 weeks & we enjoyed every minute we were there just relaxing, enjoying each others company & the breathtaking view of Taal lake in our balcony especially in the morning while sipping a cup of coffee or tea...
We included in our renovation, fully air-conditioned unit, overhead cupboard(cabinet) with induction cooktop hub & pull out range hood, tiled splash back, refrigerator, dinner plates, cooking wares, kitchen utensils, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, coffee maker, fully furnished with real bed, flat tv, leather sofa, glass top wood dinning set, water heater & a bit of Australian aboriginal art displayed on our living & bedroom for your enjoyment. We decided to have the original wood partition that separates the living room & bedroom removed as we thought it makes the unit smaller & totally blocks the balcony view from the living room. We are temporarily putting a specially made wood accordion to slightly separate living room & bedroom until we have decided wether to put a sliding glass partition or a sliding semi glass/wood partition. We are also looking at renovating the whole Rest room by next year as we didn't have enough time last month. Wifi connection is still in the process but hopefully it will be available before year end.
I also love the 24 hour security SMDC provides, easy check in check out, provided you have a valid id during check in. Check in trolleys can be provided as well if requested but don't be annoyed if security ask you where you are goin? & what unit you are staying as its part of their job, making sure only unit owners & guests are within the Tower & its facilities. As part of our Guests of Tower 3( the only Tower with the sky lounge) you can access the sky lounge form 8am to 6pm provided you ask & log through the front desk, you will be escorted by security to the sky lounge to further enjoy the view of Taal (if I'm not mistaken its on the 23rd floor.) Drinking alcohol is not allowed though…there is a future plan of putting a cafe there...
There is a garbage room along the hallway of 6th floor on your left going out the front door, walk through the hallway towards the elevator & its the 2nd door after the elevator on the right side of the hallway marked garbage room where you can drop off your garbage. If you want your room cleaned, please contact my brother in law & he will organised the room cleaned for a minimum fee of $10.
Lastly, we want to share & invite you to our Unit in SMDC WIND RESIDENCES TOWER 3 to experience the stunning & captivating view of Taal Lake & its volcanoes in your own balcony & start building your dreams too.
