Come enjoy the piece and comfort …
This is a quiet and relaxing space. The room is at the end of the hallway and it has two windows with beautiful view.
We require at least 2-night minimum stay but if you have special circumstances we can make an exception to 1-night stay – email me.
In the House ...
You have access to your room, hallway, kitchen and dining room, as well as back yard (upper deck and lower deck.)
We typically greet our guests and allow them to get comfortable. We are happy to answer any questions.
We have a booklet of things to do that is available to guests in their room.
We are dog lovers, and we have two dogs in the house. They stay outside all day and come inside during night time. They are friendly and kind - you can see them in the photo. They do not bother our guests because they stay in a living room for the night time.
We would like to ask our guests to respect basic quiet hours (10 pm to 7 am). Please let us know in advance if you are checking in late or checking out early.
We are smoke-free environment. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the house or anywhere on the property.
We are in severe drought. Even though our neighborhood is connected to a local well and so far we have not experienced any problems, we try and help out by conserving water. We have a water-saving shower heads and faucets, however we would appreciate if you are mindful of your water use, but not limiting yourself to extreme.
We also have a steep driveway and we ask our guests to park at the bottom of the driveway next to the house. The driveway is straight but inclined. Please note that this is not the type of driveway that you need 4x4 for. It's concreted and any light small or large car can drive up and down just fine even in the rain. Some people that are unfamiliar with this area's terrain may get intimidated, but no one has had any comments about that, seems like a non-issue to all our previous guests. This is just for information.
Thank you for your understanding. And feel free to ask if you have any questions.
We moved to Santa Cruz Mountains 10 years ago and we love our living here. It's an amazing place to be and we are grateful for the opportunity to see all the beauty around us every day.
My husband and I are both working professionals and we have more space than we need in our house. We love meeting new people and enjoy sharing our home with people who would like to stay in our area. We know how busy and expansive the tourism here is and we try to do our part in helping people with short term or long term stay in Santa Cruz area.
We have met wonderful individuals anywhere from international travelers to local californians from bay area and central valley.
Whether you want to stay for just a couple of nights, or a a week to several weeks we are happy to accommodate you.
Our house is located in the one of the most beautiful places - Mount Hermon, surrounded by redwoods and the hiking trails of Henry Cowell Park. We are conveniently located on Summit Ave off Graham Hill Road; less than a mile from downtown Felton, 1.5 miles from Scotts Valley, and 6 miles from downtown Santa Cruz. Our home is a smoke free environment.
Come and enjoy the piece and the beauty of this magical place!
