My house with a driveway is centrally located just a few blocks to the University of Cincinnati and Hospitals! We are a mile from Downtown and just a skip away from Gaslight Clifton and Hyde Park! Close to parks, museums, the great views of Mt Adams, and tons of restaurants and dining within walking distance. You’ll love my place because of the location, the unique design, the comfy beds. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. Please read the whole listing below!
The spaces created in the home are cool and unique, we had a professional interior designer help make it extra stylish with a casual comfortable touch of luxury! We even just added cable tvs in the living room and master bedroom! This home also has its own parking in the driveway on the right side of the house and can fit 2-3 cars. But Please read everything about this listing!
You will have the whole house with three bedrooms and the bathroom and kitchen and living room and dining room and front porch!
(The third bedroom has box fans but not air conditioner window units like the first two bed rooms do have) all three rooms have standard beds that sleep two people each!
We have keyless entry so you can come and go with ease! This makes checking in or out easy and can be done over the phone!
I love this house and have had many guests tell me that it is so adorable and wonderful! Most visitors have been very happy about the home, the cleanliness and the neighborhood! But we have had a handful of guests who were not satisfied and I have noticed a trend with these few. Firstly people with children tend to be more picky about the cleanliness of the home. The house is 100 years old. The tiles and tub in the bathroom are older, probably from the 70s, and they do have some wear on them, even though they are cleaned with bleach they just don't look brand new. The sink and toilet however have been replaced with brand new! The floors are hardwood and are mopped between guests, but some areas do look kinda scratched or discolored in spots, its really nice character, but they are the original 100 year old floors. Personally I love em. The linoleum in the kitchen has some spottiness and is cleaned but they just aren't impeccable. While most of our visitors have been very satisfied we want you to be aware that it is an older home and there maybe some dust here or there that gets missed occasionally or a scratch or spot on something here and there. Its not as spotless as being in a nice new hotel, so if thats what you expect please consider renting yourself a new hotel, or a much more expensive house. This home is hardly as expensive as the cost of a nearby hotel! The hotel up the street from our house costs $220 per night for two beds and a sofa which will put all the people to sleep in the same room and does not have a kitchen or living and dining rooms, but it is a brand new development and it is crystal clean! If you are a neat freak our house may not be the place for you, but 9 out of 10 of our guests have been very satisfied! Also the kitchen does have a 5 burner gas stove, and an oven that is smaller, it is large enough to cook a standard large frozen pizza in, but it is not as big as a full size oven. The two larger bedrooms have double sized beds and A.C. window units in them. The largest bedroom has a T.V. with cable channels, as does the living room! The smallest bedroom also has a double size bed, but does not have an A.C. window unit, but does have fans. Because the house uses window units and does not have central air we do recommend that guests who have extreme air sensitivity do not rent here. We have had hundreds of happy guests, and out of those hundreds two have said that the air quality was not up to par, one of them said she has asthma and the other said that she has severe allergies. They both chose not to stay here, so if you have asthma or extreme allergies then this may not be for you. It is a home over 100 years old and does not have central air, just window units. Other than those two guests everyone else has been very happy with the air, and been perfectly comfortable! The neighborhood is in the heart of the University of Cincinnati area, and near the Hospitals and near downtown, so it can be a hustling bustling area. It is generally quiet at night, but I would not be surprised if coming into spring and summer some college kids can occasionally be heard later on a weekend night. I do have box fans in the bedrooms to help buffer the noise if it happens to be that rare occasion, but most guests tell me it is a quiet house. Again, the house is a great charming older home and we do the regular mopping and laundry and upkeep! Most of our guests have been very satisfied as you can see from our ratings, but please be advised if you are super picky, or would consider yourself a "neat freak" that you might consider what you are getting here. For the very, very affordable rates we offer it is an amazing deal and a steal! And the location is central and convenient! I think you will probably love it! I'm sorry if all of that was kinda long winded but after renting on Air Bnb for almost 5 months now I have learned which types of people love the home and which ones maybe didn't, and I want to describe it well so that people who will really enjoy the place will rent it, and those who might not can be advised to consider and weigh out their options! :) Thanks
