Welcome to the Mad River Valley!
Our studio apartment is conveniently located off of Route 100. The quiet and peaceful space offers respite, while still being located just 5 minutes from the amenities of Waitsfield village.
Do you ski, snowboard, bike, or hike? Are you a leaf-peeper or swimming hole seeker? The studio is within 10 mile radius of numerous runs and trails. Sugarbush Resort, Mad River Glen, and a number of trailheads are just minutes away. Our space is available all seasons!
Our newly renovated, light-filled studio apartment is perfect for a weekend respite or an action-packed getaway.
The garage is not in use when occupied by quests for your privacy and to keep it quiet.
We provide the following:
Our kitchenette includes:
Electric hot plate (2 burners)
Plates and glasses
Cutting board and knives
The studio itself is above our garage. You will have all the privacy you need, as we don't park in the bays. Guests are welcome to park in front of either bay.
The apartment is accessed though a central door. As you walk in, please remove your shoes in the front hall before heading up the flight of stairs to the guest space.
It’s a bit of a climb up a dirt road to our place, so it is advised to have four-wheel or all-wheel drive during the winter months. At the very least, snow tires are a must. For climbing up hill, you will be rewarded with gorgeous mountain views!
Please remove shoes before heading up the stairs.
Parking for one vehicle only.
No additional guests.
Come spend some time in our neck of the woods!
The Mad River Valley is brimming with beauty. J and I adore it so much. Now, we look forward to sharing a piece of it with you!
Luckily, Vermont offers us outdoorsy folks places to explore. You'll find us fishing from the canoe, hiking a trail, or participating in any winter activity (because well, it's a long season here in Vermont).
If your interested, we can direct you to some sweet places.
Other then that, we love soaking in the wildlife when we're not growing or preserving our own food!
Above all, we agree that traveling is the tops! We enjoy meeting new folks and exploring others' hometowns.
