Versailles is located on the Bourbon Trail, minutes from Keeneland Race Track, Bluegrass Airport, UK, the State Capitol, KSU, Make yourself at home, we're easy going. Check in 3/Check out 10 weekday and 11 weekend, but do ask sometimes we can accommodate.
We live in a simple three bedroom brick ranch in '60s neighborhood right off US 60, between Lexington and Louisville. Your bedroom is in the Southwest corner of the house, with light creamy yellow walls with original KY artist Paul Sawyier prints. There are two windows, a full bed, dresser, bedside table, lamp, closet space, and a locking door. Wifi, as well.
Shared space is the rest of the house and yard, sans the other bedrooms. Feel free to use all the common areas In the warm months, you’ll find hammocks in the back Pine and Maple trees, feel free to sleep there or pitch a tent, we have a fire pit, with stones aligned NESW We typically have firewood and kindlin’ but do let us know and we’ll see that we do. Fire extinguisher will be there as well.
We share the home with two felines. The grand Mademoiselle Lillee, around 8 or so and the 3 y o TigerKat,a sweet pumpkin cream tabby. They are not allowed in the guest room, but feel free to enjoy them otherwise.

The house and yard are open to our guests, We share all common areas and encourage you to feel free to cook, lounge, use the fridge--we have a space just for you--hang in a hammock, and we def will not stop you from weeding the gardens! You’ll find that most of our food is organic, we locally source, try to grow as much as we can. Few if any chemicals are used in cleaning the house. Feel free to enjoy the organic fruits and snacks around and going along with our natural lifestyle we have fresh spring water in 5 gallon BPA free containers to share as well. Typically, there is beer in the fridge and wine around. If we’re cooking, we love to share, feel free to join, it’s plentiful.
We take our cue from our guests, we'll be as social as you like.
