This spacious waterfront house is situated on a private beach just 1.5miles from the town of Friday Harbor but featuring privacy for your dream island getaway.
The beach is perfect for leisurely walks, sea glass hunts, fort building, launching a kayak or even swimming if you don't mind cold water. Local otters and other sea life will often swim by for a visit, and sunrises and sunsets are dependably Instagram-worthy.

Built in 2007, the house is 2700 square feet with incredible views of Griffin Bay. Two king beds and one queen sleep a maximum of six people. Spacious living areas both upstairs and downstairs give plenty of room for activities and a full kitchen and laundry room provide all the comforts of home. Parking for up to three cars is available on-site.

Guests will have access to the whole house along with the yard and beach in front of the house.

The manager lives in a separate building on the property and is available if the need arises, but will be happy to give guests whatever level of privacy they require.

Small dogs are welcome, but they cannot be left unattended in the house and must be kept on a leash outside. All dog waste must be bagged and disposed of.

During the winter, the wind can get somewhat loud as it passes over this side of the island. Some people find the sound soothing, but if you're not one of them a pair of earplugs does a fine job of blocking it out.

1. Property Address. The vacation rental that you have rented consists of one three-bedroom single-family residence located at Friday Harbor, Washington 98250.

2. Arrival and Departure. Check in is at 3:30 p.m., and check out is at 10:00 a.m. Alternate times for arrival or departure can be coordinated and arranged in advance by contacting Nigel Oswald of Cannery Row, LLC, the company that is responsible for management of this vacation rental.

3. Contact Information. In case of an emergency, please contact Nigel Oswald at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)f it is a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately. The phone number for the San Juan County Sherriff’s Office is ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Use of Property. Please be considerate of neighbors in the community and please do not drive faster than 15 MPH along Wilks Way and the access driveway, when arriving to and departing from the property. Please also watch out for wildlife, young children, and the other residents on the property.

5. No Smoking. Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the rental unit and on the surrounding property. Fire hazards are a great concern here on San Juan Island, and no open flames, candles, or fireworks are permitted anywhere on the premises.

6. Occupancy. The occupancy for this unit was determined prior to your arrival and in accordance with the San Juan County Code. The maximum number of occupants is limited to Six (6) guests. If you have questions about this, please contact Nigel Oswald of Cannery Row, LLC.

7. Conservation. Water is a scarce resource on San Juan Island, and the community appreciates you being mindful and considerate when using water during your stay.

8. No Unreasonable Disturbances. Please conduct yourself in a manner that is respectful of others living on the property and neighboring landowners, and in such a way that there are no unreasonable disturbances to area residents.

9. Nuisances. Please do not use any equipment or materials that can produce unreasonable vibration, noise, dust, smoke, odor, or electrical interference to the detriment of neighboring landowners.

10. Noise. Please do not play music or create noises that are audible to those outdoors after 9:00 p.m.

11. No Trespassing. There is a map of the property boundaries in the rental unit that clearly depicts the property boundaries and points of access to the shoreline. Please do not, under any circumstances, travel beyond these boundaries since land beyond those limits is privately owned property. Trespassing on to private property is absolutely prohibited in San Juan County.

We had a great time at Nige's place! It was the perfect home base for our girls' weekend- close to town, but private and quiet. We brought kayaks and had a nice trip around the little island in front of the property, and spent a while sifting through the beach for pretty rocks and sea glass. The house is just as beautiful as the pictures, nice big kitchen and plenty of space. It was good for our group of 4, but could easily handle 2 more. We're already talking about our next trip!

Nige's place is great. Easy access to Friday Harbor, but just a bit outside town which we loved. And although we didn't need anything, it seemed he was readily available if we had. Really nice house and a great location.

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home! The views were spectacular, location was secluded and yet very close to town, and the house exceeded all of our expectations. Nige provides everything you would need and more in the house - lots of little extras. As a host, Nige was very helpful and responsive both before we arrived and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property!

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The paddle boards are fun, and the yard was great for our dog. We only met Nige for a minute, but he was very welcoming. Book this property if you can!

Beautiful house. Amazing view. Wonderful beach right in front of the house. Super close to the ferry. The house had everything you might need. Super comfy beds. We had a fantastic time staying at Nige's place.

Hi! I've lived in the San Juans for 11 years now. I love this property with its proximity to the water. I live next door full time with my young boys 50% of the time. It is a pretty unique home with the "no bank" waterfront, close to town with beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
