2-bedroom apartment in Jamaica Hills near LaGuardia/JFK, Queens Hospital, Citifield, St. Johns University, York College. Subway is 2 blocks away- 35 mins into Manhattan. On LIRR- Penn Station is just 20 min ride. Nearby: Indian restaurants, bus terminal, laundromats, library, grocery stores, NYC park, gas stations, salons, schools.
For NYC standards, my 2-bedroom/1 bath apartment is quite spacious. The room for rent is my daughter's bedroom which has (1) twin size bed with (1) trundle mattress underneath that rolls out, sleeping 2 people comfortably. You have an HD flat screen Smart TV, alarm clock radio and Wii console for your entertainment. There are 2 large windows which bring in a lot of sunlight throughout the day and a cool breeze year round.
There is a large, clean, open living/dining area. I have a comfortable worn-in couch and HD TV with Fire-stick/ Netflix access if you decide to stay in and enjoy the common living area. You can head to the nearby grocery stores, cook here at home and eat your meals at the dining table.
No Air Conditioning at the moment. It's definitely not needed here in NYC in fall/winter/spring months. I have a big fan you may use if you need it in the room. The central heating turns on for winter months.
Your room overlooks a quaint little park so it's typically cooler in that room than in the rest of the apartment. It's also quiet because there is no street/traffic/sidewalks at the back of the building. Rest assured, you will get a good night's sleep!
Bathroom, kitchen, living and dining room. You'll have access to all common areas. Make yourself at home, mi casa es su casa!
My master bedroom is off limits.
During the week I work so I don't get home until after 6/7pm. We can chat about your day once I'm home. :-). My weekends are flexible. I have a sixth-grader (daughter) that is with me for 2-weeks at a time. She's into track and field and dancing and will teach you some moves if you ask her LOL!
I work during the week and usually leave my place by 9/930am. Depending on what I have going on at work or after, I'm usually home by 7pm. I am available by phone 24/7. Don't hesitate to call or text me with any questions or concerns.
Please be clean and have respect for my home. No guests permitted outside of the 1 or 2 individuals checking in. You must clean up after yourself (wash your own dishes, clean the table or countertops off after use, etc.) and tidy up the common areas when used. In your room, you'll have a TV in there. Please be aware that the neighbor shares that wall with you, so don't have the TV on too loud late at night during the weeknight.
No pets permitted in my building/apartment.
No outside guests.
Please lower the toilet seat after use! ;-)
