I am a semi-retired documentary television and event producer who loves people and food. I pride myself on my cooking skills and along with my wife Maureen, who is a business analyst for a major insurance company, are taking the first steps to turn our house into an Inn. Her dream is to have a Bed and Breakfast in Ireland but we are starting here.
We love to travel and have an adventurous spirit. When we vacation we seldom have an itinerary and make it up as we go. What most interests us are places with a rich history and local culture. But being from the Northeast US, we don't ever mind if our destination has a palm tree and Reggae music playing in the background.
In my documentary production days, I had the good fortune to travel the world and get paid for it. What an eye opening experience. People are pretty much all the same with their basic needs and wants no matter who they are and where they come from. The biggest lesson learned from all those miles is to accept your fellow man for who they are.
